PERSONAL BIOGRAPHY

Bishop Charles D. Dorsey is a native of Pasadena, California. He attended Washington Elementary School, Wilson Junior High, and Pasadena High before earning his Bachelor’s degree from Oral Roberts University. A standout multi-sport athlete, he received a full basketball scholarship and was a four-year starter at ORU, competing in the NCAA Tournament, commonly known as March Madness. He later earned both his Master's and Doctorate degrees from King’s University.

Bishop Dorsey has faithfully served as Senior Pastor of Lifeline Fellowship Christian Center in Altadena, California, for 24 years. He has provided visionary leadership that bridges spiritual formation and practical community impact. Under his leadership, Lifeline has sustained free food distribution and the provision of basic essential supplies to the community, serving families throughout the Altadena and greater Pasadena areas. He has also championed discipleship, leadership development, and mentoring initiatives that equip and restore hope to underserved populations.

He currently serves as Bishop for the State of New Mexico, providing apostolic oversight, pastoral covering, and planting of new churches, and strategic guidance to churches and leaders. He is also the founder/chancellor of Lifeline Bible College and CEO of Lifeline Community Services and Economic Development Corporation.

Bishop Dorsey and his wife, Dr. Lisa Dorsey, have been married for 39 years and are blessed with four children and four grandchildren.
